If it's a bit coarse then they're most likely abby/teddy mixes one of them just may have gotten a bit more of the abby then the other xD

And TSW stands for Tortoiseshell and white; it's a variety. The Tortoiseshell is the patches of red and patches of black, and then the whites the white. :)

Diagnose my piggy :) I've been asking everyone on here but no one seems to know! I know her breed is most likely American, but I would like to know her color pattern.

The pigtures ALWAYS flip in random directions on my phone. Does anyone know why that is?

i didnt think she was full abbi, shes my Einstein as she has crazy white hair ^^

So sweet! :) And yes, she's definitely an American. Her color would be a Cream and White Broken. (broken means that it's a mix of patches of multiple colors or patterns that don't fit any of the other variety descriptions.) I love the cream color <3 very pretty.

Hi there. I'm new here and this is my first piggie although I've always wanted to get one. I have tons & tons of questions but I'll try not to get too obnoxious on this one thread. hehe.

Anyway, this is Benny. Any info you can give me on type / variety / etc would be great. He's very young. I've only had him 3 weeks but I've already seen noticable growth in him.

My goodness! He's a very handsome piggie. His breed would be an American, and for his variety he's a Silver Agouti and White Broken. The silver agouti is the patches of grey, it means the bottom of each hair shaft is black, with a white tip color. :) Hope it's helpful, and welcome to the forum!

@MizzyMiz Thank you sooo much! I couldn't tell if she was beige or cream or I think one of them was buff because words can't really describe a color. ;) I heard about the Broken pattern and I was looking into that...and I'm sure she appreciates the "pretty" compliment... I just told it to her lol. Thanks again! *suddenly clear*

No problem xD, and ya, for a long time the beige vs. cream thing was super confusing to me ???? But beige is a lot darker, kind of in-between cream and chocolate, it's just a weeeiiiird color xP

Silver! Thank you. The main reason we picked him was because of his unique coloring and the best I could come up with describing him was "greyish" so that's great to know. Thank you.

No problem, glad it helped :)

Can you tell us coloring? I know we have two Abyssinians and one short hair and I'm pretty sure Hustle (Momma Aby) is tortoise with white and one of the babies is definitely albino but what is Flo (adult smooth coat)? She has brownish spots with white hairs all throughout them. I know our rabbit who had similar patterning was a type of agouti. And what would the littlest baby be considered? Her ear and eye patches aren't really grey or brown but something in between.

@ juliannimal : Your right, the first one is a TSW (tortoiseshell and white) Abby, the second one, the American, is a Golden Agouti/Red/White Broken. The littlest baby is a Chocolate and White Broken (it may be lilac but it's hard to tell since it's still so small.) And just as a side note, you really wouldn't call it an albino, it would just be a Self White (even with the red eyes, it's just normal for whites.) But anyway, very cute guineas :D especially the babies, so precious :) Hope this helps.

I've been told SO many different things from friends, breeders, etc about my Duff pig. Since you seem to be the expert, what do you think? Thanks! :)

Crappy photo, but I wanted to show the fact that he has markings and isn't a self.

Is Penelope American Golden Agouti?

I know this isn't my thread but I've been stalking it xD (sorry for popping in like this OP!) but yeah, she looks like a golden agouti.

Thanks! She just had a vet visit last Friday and the vet said she reminded him of a groundhog. Now I can't look at her without thinking about a groundhog! I don't have a picture of my Kiwi but she is tricolored (black, white, and red), almost looks like a calico cat. What would she be considered?

What are my ones? :D I know that Pepper (One on left) is an american short-hair but not about his variety, and I think Chillie (One on right) is a Teddy?

This is my sister's guinea pig, she wouldn't let me take a new pigture but I had some from earlier in the year >:) and coloring doesn't really change unless they go from baby to adult and it darkens, so...
Could you do her? I'm posting a few pigtures so you can see as much as possible.

Sorry they turned all funky. The left side is all white, and her feet are pink as are her ears, and her eyes would be classified as Dark. Thank you :)
