I was thinkng about trying celery with Dora and Olivia, but I was wondering what's the best way to give it to them.

Either string it and give it to them as a stalk, or cut it in small pieces crosswise so they won't choke on the strings.

So if I chop them into small pieces, that should be fine.

I just slice mine very thin so there isn't any strings. For me that is easier than taking the string off. Do it as if you are making chicken salad with it, very thin.

I give Ferb 1/8-1/4" slices (crosswise like bpatters said). He does fine with them.

I slice it in half then chop into small pieces. :)
