Thanks for that, I understand now. I'm pretty sure in Sims1 that there was an hamster in the cage, you had to feed it, play with it and clean it. Though I'm sure I remember it biting quite a bit. I agree in the Sims2 it's more like a hybrid hamster/guinea pig.
