The dollar store is your best friend when it comes to piggy hideys, I have found! The ones pictured are meant to be stacking storage baskets, and I have also used large gift boxes with doors cut out, and other types of storage baskets (as you can see in the background.) I've seen the step-stools...

When I first got my girls, the boy I was adopting from told me "they don't like lettuce, only carrots and apples." And sure enough, they would not touch lettuce or cilantro or anything else. What I ended up doing was mixing some cilantro in with their hay, to see if they would "accidentally" eat...

Cleaning for me, too...mainly the fleece, needing extra time and effort for vacuuming, shaking out, rubbing down (with a rubber glove) to get fur out, not to mention the extra laundry costs. But, as others have said, it's well worth it!! :)
