Well as some of you may know my two girls recently passed away, may they rest in peace. I was looking on gumtree when I saw an add asking for donations of any kind, shape or form that could help out their animals. This add belonged to a rescue called The Animal Rescue Angels. Of course I emailed...

I'm really upset at the moment I just came home from school and found out both guinea pigs are in extensive care with only a 1% chance of survival. I need a miracle, crying as I'm writing this and it's all my fault if I hadn't gone to school I could have watched them and made sure they were ok...
Hello everyone, I recently just did a quick health check on my guinea pigs and I noticed that Tilly my female shorthair's teats..if that's what you call them have gotten larger is that because she is in season or is it something I should be worried about? They're not infected looking nor do they...
Hey everyone it's about time you meet my two female shorthairs Connie and Tilly. Connie is the creamy yellow and white... not tan nor orange but yellow while Tilly is the grey and white. As you might have guessed Connie is the troublemaker while Tilly is her apprentice; shy and quiet but loyal. :)
A couple of days ago I went to the pet shop to have a look around and I must say their supplies are good and the condition they keep their animals in isn't that bad, however here in Australia it gets very hot and there are many people who dump animals young or old at pet shops, ok i'll get to...

I've finally decided on my cage design. I'm making a 2x5 with another 2x5 on top, one level will be for my 2 girls and the other will be for future foster guinea pigs. Just thought I'd let you all know.
My cage will hopefully look something like this:

Hey everyone
I know the minimum for two guinea pigs is a 2x4 c&c cage and anything bigger is better but what's the best way to lay out your cage: an l shape, a 3x3, a simple 2x5 or 2x4
Any ideas or opinions are greatly appreciated :)
Hi I just emailed rubbermaid enquiring about where to get grids and this is what they said:
Thank you for your email
The 3pk storage cubes are avail from Bunnings stores,
If they don't have any in stock you can order them through the special orders desk
So yeah hope it helps :)
