    Size Layouts for 4 females?

Thanks for your help. I think I'm going to try to see if I can get the 3x4 to fit in the room. There's a couple of obstacles, plus a heater I need to be aware of. But after thinking about the pros and cons of the two different layouts (a 2x4 would be easier to separate if they don't get along...

    Size Layouts for 4 females?

Would it still not count if it had three levels and two were 2x4? I'm only asking because of some of the pics I've seen.

    Size Layouts for 4 females?

We originally had two pigs in an alternative C&C, approximately a 2X4 sixe. After Sophie's cagemate died, we adopted three girls from a shelter. Currently, we have two in the original cage, and two in a 2x4 c&C cage. I would like to be able to put them all together, but am not entirely sure how...

    Cyst Sophie's Ovarian Cyst

Thanks for your advice. I'm going to phone the vet tomorrow to find out exactly why Baytril was prescribed. Until then, I'm going to hold off giving her any more (she did get one dose last night). I'm nervous about the spay option mostly because the vet sounded unsure of it on the phone. I need...

    Cyst Sophie's Ovarian Cyst

We just had Sophie in for a check-up earlier this week. The vet said her tummy didn't feel right, so we booked her in for a scan, which she had eariler today. They found a large ovarian cyst, and gave us the option of spaying her or giving her hormone treatment. I asked the vet for her opinion...

    Hello!

I think it worried me because she's used to the water bottle. Its really only been since her sister died that she stopped drinking from it. But her general behavior is improving and she actually wheeked for her dinner last night, but the water bottle's still full.

    Hello!

Thanks! I do have a question. Sophie's not been drinking her water. I've been changing it regularly, but the water level isn't dropping at all. Her poo looks ok, and I've been making sure to keep her veggies extra wet after washing them. Is there anything else i should do?

    Sophie

Sophie's started to perk up again today. She's been very sad about loosing her sister, and very quiet. But today, she's actually come out of her hidey and played with her toys! She's still not wheeking, but she was always the quiet one.

    Hello!

Hi I'm new to this forum. I've got one guinea pig, Sophie. Sadly her sister just passed away over the weekend. :weepy: So now we're looking for a new friend for her through some nearby rescues. I actually found this forum over a year ago, when I was first looking at guinea pigs. I found the...
