UK Where to buy Cubes in UK

I've just ordered these today ready for when I get back to the uk. That's a great price for 30 cubes and connectors I think. Mine were from the same company on amazon so I actually paid postage, but these are free postage. (broken link removed)

Introductions Off to a bad start. Need help with reintroducing boars!

Success! They are getting in fine now. A few raised noses and mountings but that's it. I don't believe it. I was so convinced we had gone past the point of no return. Thank you everyone for your replies :)

Introductions Off to a bad start. Need help with reintroducing boars!

Next update :) I think are old guinea pig has established his dominance and now he just keeps mounting the new one and chasing him. There are peaceful periods in between though where they are just chilling out quite far apart.

Introductions Off to a bad start. Need help with reintroducing boars!

Ok. Had lots of teeth chattering rumbling chasing and nipping but it appears to have calmed down now and they are both in different areas of the pen. Not sure if anything has been sorted out yet though but we had separated them by this point last time.

Introductions Off to a bad start. Need help with reintroducing boars!

Well, they are together with open ended hideys and both pretty much ignoring each other. No bath! Fingers crossed. Will keep you updated. I tried to send a pic but it won't let me. Our pen is much bigger than the cage so think I will leave them in the eon for the time being at least. Thanks...

Introductions Off to a bad start. Need help with reintroducing boars!

Thanks for all the replies so far. The place we introduced them was huge, so no worries about feeling crowded, and the cage they will eventually go into is also big enough. We had no hideys though just plenty of space food and water. Should I put in hideys too? I Also know that too many...

Introductions Off to a bad start. Need help with reintroducing boars!

Hi, I've not posted on here for quite a while, but recently our oldest guinea pig passed away and after leaving our boy on his own for a few weeks decided it was time to get him a mate. I went to our vet/rescue here and asked for a younger make or neutered female to introduce to our approx 2...

Introductions Leading up to an introduction and timescales

Well it's getting late and i would like to spend a whole day with them after the introductions and not leave them alone overnight for their first time together. We've just gone out and got new boxes to make temporary hideys and I also have a new piece of coroplast to cut and get ready. Their...

Introductions Leading up to an introduction and timescales

Hi, As I have previously posted, one of our guinea pigs died two weeks ago :( His brother, who was the dominant boar is left and so far seems fine if a little bored. We are giving him loads of attention, lots of lap time and play time and also adding new stuff to his cage to make things more...

Oh and we've had him for about three hours now and he's eaten hay, veg and pellets but not pooed yet. Is that normal?

    Introductions Sad news

A happy update :) we got our baby today. He's a one month old boar. He's very tame and sweet. We got him from the same rescue we got Dandelion and Clover from. He is in the same room as Clover now and they both seem oblivious to each other. I'm thinking a week kept completely separately and...

    Introductions Sad news

Bumping for an answer to my last question please :) i have been told there are neutered females available. Should I consider introducing one to Clover, or should I hold out for a younger boar? Thank you :)

    Introductions Sad news

A little update: Clover is doing ok and is getting lots of extra love and attention. So far he doesn't seem too depressed. I have spoken to a vet at the rescue and they have a few neutered females but no young males. Would it be ok to introduce an older female, or should I wait it out for a...

    Introductions Sad news

A couple of other questions please. After quarantine, would it be ok to introduce them out of the cage and then put them back into the old cage together. Do I need to replace the coroplast and hideys and fleece liners or is a thorough wash enough for it to be a neutral place? I have a small...
