I built my cage a bit differently than most folks. In my cage, The coroplast is on the outside of the grids. The grids sit inside of the coroplast. No clips necessary to hold in the fleece and the piggies cant get underneath because the edges are out of their reach. I have a seam in the middle...
I wish more vegetarians were like you in this regard. No need to constantly run around trying to change people. I'm not a veggie, but I have no problems with it so long as it's not constantly being thrown in my face. Just be yourself and don't be concerned what others think.
I would think such a drastic weight loss is a cause for concern, but since I'm no medical expert, I'll refrain from giving potentially bad advice. I'm very surprised nobody has popped in here with a little more knowledge to share. Good Luck!
2 Dogs:
Rhett, a Boston terrier, I am a huge fan of Boston University Terriers Hockey, so she was named after the mascot for the team.
Gizmo, a Shih-tzu, named after the sounds she made on the way home from adoption. She sounded just like Gizmo from Gremlins.
6 Piggies:
Cocoa, named for her...
After you introduce them on neutral territory, be sure to clean the cage and its contents completely to remove existing scents before placing them back in the cage. The bigger the cage, the better off you should be as they can get away from each other when they want.

We got our first 4 girls from a pet store before finding this site. Then we adopted 2 more girls from someone here on the site that happened to be local.
I found the following info for cleaning mold from wood with a google search: How can mold growth be discouraged?
Increase ventilation in enclosed areas with fans and vents. Run a dehumidifier. Look for leaks in pipes and basements. Leaks may not be
obvious; but continuously exposing wood to...
I know the feeling. I was so excited the day my supplies came from KM. I removed the bag from the box of hay and stabbed a few holes in the box. I put the pellets in a large rubbermaid container with a lid. The piggies love this stuff..especially the hay.
I use the coroplast covered in towels and fleece as the floor of the cage and built the cage inside the coroplast edges, so the edges of my fleece are outside of the cage and cant be reached by my piggies at all. To clean, we simply lift the cage off of the coroplast and have full access to all...
