Hey there,
I just wanted to let you know that I have already adopted them out to someone locally. I appreciate your interest in them and hope that you can find some pigs to adopt.
Thanks again for your interest!
They're both boys, one is about 10 months old and the other is like 6-8 months old. I've got pictures in my albums on my profile on here of both of them. They're super sweet boys. I've always trimmed their nails myself and they've never offered to bite or anything. One of them is a licker. =]...
I have two boys, one long haired and one short haired. They're both healthy and get along well. I'd like to find another home for them because right now I'm not able to do right by them where time and finances are concerned. They're really good boys and have never offered to bite or anything...
I have the Midwest Habitat at my college apartment and a C&C at home. I actually had all the supplies for the C&C cage around the house and didn't know until after I bought the Midwest to use until I found the supplies.
My advice about if you decide to go with a C&C is to ask around your town...
This may seem weird, but my pigs enjoy their floor time more separately than they do together. They just lay around like fat cats if they're both out at the same time. He'll love the exercise I'm sure!
Mine doesn't popcorn when I do it, but he reaches his hind leg up as if to scratch me away. I think it annoys him? Not sure though. His happy noises and annoyed noises are too similar to my ears. He's the only pig I've been around really so I haven't heard a good example of an annoyed noise. ;)
So I've been feeding my little guy some Kaytee hay that my roommate feeds her bunny. I just assumed that since she feeds her bunny (who I thought was spoiled until recently) this brand, it would be good for my pig as well.
Well, it's Christmas break and I was starting to run out of the hay...
Looks like it. =] I got my coroplast for free though. Check around at local gas stations and grocery stores. Some of their products come shipped with pieces between them and some use them as signs for tobacco products and sales on other items. They frequently have a stack in their stock room...
Congrats on the cuties! As for caring for them, I'd make sure that your current cage (and your future one, in case she did rebreed) are baby proofed so that you don't find a little one wandering outside of the cage and to prevent them from getting stuck between bars.
There's a lot of info on...
So adorable! I'm trying to convince my boy to wheek. I wish he would do it as much as your baby. He wheeked as clear as a bell when I went behind his cage the other day. It was adorable but now he won't do it anymore. haha He's almost 6 months old and he still makes lil baby squeaks.
