Ricardo was rescued 2 weeks ago and needs a loving home with a mate. He has been to the vet, has a c&c cage, 2 sets of fleece flippers and other supplies. He is healthy, adorable and looking for a loving home where he can get lots of love and attention!!

Sounds like they love animals but need some education. I am happy to help you and not I'm not too far away. Send me a pm. In the long run, you can help teach them what guineas need to be healthy and they will be an even better rescue.

He came out a couple of times tonight. Seems like his favs are green pepper and blueberries. I left a bowl full of cucumber, zucchini, tomato, spinach, banana etc. He is still not happy with me but he doesn't "always" run away when I walk by the room with his new cage. I think he is warming...

I knew NOTHING about guinea pigs until 72 hours ago and thanks to all of you, I am now a temporary rescue mom and a permanent advocate for guinea pigs. Thank you for everything all of you have done and do every day.

That's awesome! I am out of town at least a week every month and I don't think that is fair to any pet. I am an animal lover and have learned an awful lot about guinea pigs so he will be taken care of in the long run. I will be sure of it. :)
