Alright thank you for the inputs! I have never had a cat or dog so idk how long they shed...lol and I have had her for about 4 months and she just started this whole shedding non sense haha

My guinea pig Maple (satin short hair) is shedding because the weather is warming up, I was just wondering if anyone knows about how long this lasts for :) I have been brushing out as much as I can every day

Well I did it for the first time today and he is 4 months old and there wasn't.much in there at all so I say you could wait til he's 4 months old and you do it to get rid of the gunk that builds up in there because when they drag their butts on the ground it picks up hay, fur, poops and all that...

Yes I did it all by myself I folded a towel and put it on my bed, I had him sitting facing away from me just Like the girl in the video and he was squirmiry than hers but eventually he gave up :) then I gave him a little treat after :)

The dosage he gave me was .25 ml to each Guinea pig, except my younger one he has a special dosage that he put in droppers and it says one dose between shoulders every 3 weeks...

So all my cavies have lice :( I already took them to the vet and got treatments for all of them ( I have to apply one little bottle to each of them every 21 days 3 times ) I use fleece bedding, I was wondering if I should switch to newspaper or something until the lice is gone? Yeah I just read their weight can vary a lot and my prego piggy is twice the size of my other one who is the same age but her belly only looks really wide when she's sitting haha
