Fleece is great, but is quite a bit of work. It is really based on preference. Fleece, carefresh, wood pellets are all great. I personally have never used shavings though

I think i will just email them about the hardwood or softwood thing. But for my question, are douglas fir wood pellets okay or not?
So, Im looking into using wood pellets for bedding and I found golden fire wood pellets. It says it is made of 100% douglas fir, but does not mention anything about hard or softwood. I know a lot of people use pine, but is douglas fir okay?
You can go to https://www.guineapigcagesstore.com/coroplast-bases and get a pre-cut and scored coro base, but they don't have any that fit your measurements. The bases on the site are a little narrower, if that works for you. It is cheaper just to buy a sheet of coro and cut and score it...
