Is that carpet for the bedding? If it is how does it work and to you put anything underneath it (towells)?

The bedding is vetbed gold which is a bedding originally made for ill and elderly cats and dogs. It wicks the urine through like fleece does onto towels below. It's great if you can get it! I think they've only recently started selling it in the US.

How is the vetbed on smell? I had tried using fleece and mattress pads but it smelled so bad that I went to Aspen shavings. How about the vetbed? I see they sell it on Ebay.

i just got a guinea pig and i love her to death and would love to make a really big cage for her how do you do it.
