Hi there,

Ive read up on here on fighting, bullying and the like. My two boars have been fighting - the younger one nipped the older one right in the face and drew blood. I

I have a 2 x 5 cage and have split it in two with grids so they can see each other only to give the older one a break from all the ruckus.

The bigger one had MITES as well and is being treated for that, he is looking a lot better than he was poor baby. Vet said Stress could trigger mites aswell, said they fight a bit and have had to separate them before.

Can I separate them or is it just cruel to live on their own? The little one is under a year and puberty blues is an understatement... he wont give the bigger one a break.

You could house them next to each other for a while until the younger one gets through the hormonal storms. If they chew the bars, you could put plexiglass between them -- saves on broken teeth.
