My skinny pig Mary is being Introduced to my other furry pigs, Peanut and Sunny, and got a light scratch on her behind during a tumble. Is it a reason to separate?!
I really want this to work

Here’s a pic, please reply soon!! Thanks pig lovers

There is also some rumbling and complaining with an occasional quiet chatter. I’m worried

No, a light scratch or rumbling and complaining is not a reason to separate. Drawing blood or very, very serious aggression would be about the only reasons.

Being a skinny, the only defense against her receiving injuries is to make sure ALL of your pigs nails are kept neat and manageable.

Thank you so much. I’m going to try a buddy bath and put them back after that

How big is your cage? If it's not large enough for three pigs, someone is going to continue to suffer.

Also, it may help to file the points of the nails of your other pigs to keep them from scratching her.

It went amazing. I’m so happy, the piggies are in there cage all together, munching on hay and veggies. There is an occasional tumble with them, but Mary has finally submitted and excepted Sunny as queen bee. Thank you all so much for the support and advice! I will be going on here anytime I have an issue and I’m not sure what to do because you all are such knowledgeable, kind and helpful people. I owe it all to this forum for the tips I got 🫶🏼♥️
