10/29 New information - took her to the vet last week and Xrays were taken, no stones present. She also peed and pooed there so vet had evidence to look at. All looked normal, acitivty level and eating has not changed. A few days later she starting whimpering again when pooing and I have seen a tinge of blood at times in her urine. I am wondering if she is passing crystals? IShe is whimpering more now. If no stones were present on Xray do you have any advice on what else to look for? Thank you.

Did they do a urinalysis or did the vet just look at whatever she did on the way there? If they take a fresh pee sample from her, they can test for crystals and so on.

Spoke to the vet, who looked back in her records and suggested we try antibotics again to see how she responds.

Just an update, Pumpkin finished a 10 day regimen of Bactrim, and it seems to have cleared up. She still makes a tiny noise sometimes when she poops, but no blood and no change in eating or activity. Thank you for the advice.
