Hello! My name is Annicka i'm Portugese. This Christmas my family gave me this adorable guinea pig that I called Olivia and they also gave one to my cousin. On Olivia's second week with us we noticed that she was less active and a little fatter than my cousin's and a few days later as I picked her up I felt babies in her belly, and asI soon as we found out that she was pregnant i've been reading about guinea pigs pregnancy and tried to find out if I could keep her babies. Last week her babies were born and they are adorable but I can't really tell they're sex so I gave them genderless names for now they are Browny and Oreo. I'm loving having the babies with me but I'm afraid that they'll be male and I won't be able to keep them Olivia, Browny and OreoOlivia, Browny and Oreo

Welcome! Cute pig!

You'll have to figure out the sex of the pups before they're 21 days old. That's when you have to separate the males, if any, from the females, or they'll get mom and sisters pregnant. Here's something that may help: https://www.cavyspirit.com/sexing.htm. You can also post clear, close-up, well-lit pictures on here and see if someone can identify them.

Here's some recommended reading for new pig owners: https://www.guineapigcages.com/forum/threads/113176-Information-for-new-guinea-pig-owners
