Hay Should the hay be sealed?

We ordered 3rd cut hay from KMS. Should it be kept sealed up or left open to air? We normally but the big bags of oxbow hay but we switched.

It should have some air so it doesn't get moldy. Most of the bags have air holes in them, or you can transfer to an open container. Just make sure it's food safe. I use a large container made for dog food storage.

Bear in mind also that hay keeps best in dark places. The sun or light will make it lose its green color. Dry and dark is ideal.
