I am a first time piggy owner of three lovely ladies (Violet, Pancake, and Freckle) I recently found a VERY inflamed nipple on one of my pigs when going to cut her nails. After applying a bit of pressure it began to drain pure blood, needless to say I called the vet immediately and scheduled an appointment. This will be her very first vet visit and I am looking for advice on taking her.

I've read it's best to take pigs in pairs as to not stress them, but taking all three of my girls would be quite a lot to handle. The other options are to either leave one home alone or to only take the sick pig and I'm not sure which is the best option, any advice will be appreciated

Whatever's easiest for you. It doesn't really matter.

Be sure you're seeing an exotic vet. Small animal vets treat dogs and cats, and very few are competent to treat exotic pets.

Personally, I only ever took the sick pig to the vet, but then, I always kept my pigs in separate carriers when transporting. If your sick girl is particularly nervous, it might be helpful to bring along a friend. You can bring whichever of the other pigs you think might help make the vet visit less stressful, but I don't see any need to bring all three. I should think whoever gets left at home will be fine on their own for an hour or two. After all, they're in their own cage, so they don't usually stress too much if their friends are missing for just a short while. Good luck, and I hope your girl gets better soon!
