Yes, we can tell you. The death rate for guinea pups is high. There are a lot of genetic problems with guinea pigs.

But as I remember, you recently argued with me about the safety of guinea pig pregnancies and deliveries, saying that you knew of pregnancies and births with no problems, and stated that you were going to breed your guinea pigs. Stick around awhile, and you'll find that your friend's situation is all too common, and that people really have no business breeding guinea pigs.

Were they dead when she first saw them? If so it is possible they were stillborn.

Had they been cleaned off or did they still have their amniotic sac around them?

But you are housing a male and female together (or rather "letting them run together) so whether you intentionally breed or if it happens as a matter of course, you are doing nothing to prevent it.

Really? Last week you wanted quotes for a price to neuter him. So even if you had the surgery done since then, he's still fertile for several weeks.

Nobody here is trying to be rude or judgmental, but we do care about the welfare of the guinea pigs and don't appreciate being lied to.

All I asked was a question, no need to gang up on me.
