Coroplast Coroplast Chewing

I'm sure the information I am looking for is some place on this site but I have been unable to locate it, so I thought I'd just post a thread and ask.

My guinea pig has been chewing his coroplast. Will it hurt him? Why is he doing this?

Probably because he wants you to bring him food. Does he have a companion?

I doubt it will hurt him. Lots of guinea pigs do it.

He has food in his bowl and I took him a carrot but he kept chewing for a while until he went and laid down. No, I only have the one. I was thinking I had read, before making my C&C cage, that it wouldn't hurt him but I wanted to be sure. Thanks.
