Coroplast Question about where to measure for coroplast insert on c&c cages.

I'm new to guinea pigs. We just built the cube base for our c&c cage last night. We are trying to figure out where you measure for the coroplast. Does the tray fit edge to edge in the cubes or does it sit inside the connectors with a small space between the cubes and coroplast? I am so excited to get my girls out of their pet store cages and just need to figure out this last thing for now.

It should not sit on the connectors. There will be a gap between the coroplast and the grids. Make sure to leave space for the thickness of the coroplast when you fold up.
