Australia Grids in Kmart!

In Australia too! They are listed under the 'Roomates' brand and are in the catalogue this week (also available online).
16 grids, 18 connectors. POWDER COATED! It's been nearly a decade since I've seen powder coated grids in Australia. $25 a box. (I got 2 boxes, I need to replace some grids in my cages since I've been reusing them for nearly a decade!)

No, they were in the section where they keep everything for decorating kids bedrooms. Ask at the customer service desk, they should be able to point you in the right direction (it is in the catalogue, so you can show them what the box looks like).

A friend of mine on FB (who also has guinea pigs) posted them yesterday, I had to work today so popped into Kmart after my shift to see if they were getting any in and they already had the display up.

If Kmart carries them, chances are Sears does, too, since it's the same company. If you have a Sears in your area, you might inquire. The Sears by us doesn't carry them in the store, but I can order online and pick them up at the store for free. Kmart has them on the shelves in their stores. If you contact the company and let them know the number of people who are interested, they might start stocking them at Sears. It's worth a try.

That's how much I know..... I'm glad at least you have Kmart.

Yeah, it's a bit weird, but Kmart Australia is a completely separate company to Kmart US, they began as joint venture but I think Coles (Supermarket chain) bought out the rest of the shares in the early 90s so whilst they have the same name they have nothing to do with each other anymore.

Ok I just got 2 packets of grids.... Wow they are heavy! I don't even have any guinea pigs at the moment... I was just so excited that there are finally grids!

Damn! How frustrating, I've been on the hunt for grids in Australia for a while now and I only just saw this.

I might check my local Kmart in the hope that they still sell them since they don't seem to be online anymore

I got some more a few weeks ago and they actually scanned up as on $15 for a box!

I actually found some in a Kmart near me! They were $10 a box!

I'm a little annoyed that there's only 14 in each box as the picture shows 16 but oh well, my girls will finally get a C&C cage!
