No, it's not diarrhea. Haven't you ever had diarrhea? Loose, watery stools? Google it and click on images.

And chill out a little. Your pigs are not seriously ill, if their poop and behavior and eating habits are anything to go by. Just give them some time to get over the effects of the medication, like two or three days worth of time.

I apologize. I have bad anxiety and sometimes it gets the best of me. Thank you for being patient and answering all my questions.

Update: my vet said to try and take my pigs off the flagyl today and see how they do. Since going off the flagyl my older boar's poops are still mushy but my other boar's poops are very tiny. Almost like little balls of poop but are pretty hard. Some are even like two poops together. Would you recommend going back on the flagyl soon if these kind of stools continue or waiting and giving their systems more time?

I think you should do whatever your vet says.

I've been pretty clear that I wouldn't take them off the Flagyl at all, and that taking them off and then putting them back on is not a good idea. I don't how much clearer I could be than that.

They have not had a dose since last night. Figaro's appetite for hay and his energy level seems to be getting better. He is making poops that look pretty good but still not as frequently as I'd like.

However, my older pig Boo Boo has only been pooping very mushy and sometimes un-formed stools. And when he poops he picks his butt up and strains sometimes making a squeaking noise. There has mostly been stool that comes out when he does but sometimes he pushes and nothing happens. Every time a poop comes out he eats it. I called the emergency clinic whose exotic specialist treated them for the diarrhea in the first place. They said to keep them off the flagyl and continue to monitor them. They are both still eating but seem very tired still. I'm just starting to panic because my vet is closed tomorrow for the holiday and I'm getting on a plane in the afternoon to go to Russia. I'm not sure if his system still needs time to get back to normal or what is going on.

What you're describing is a pig with a bladder stone. I'd want an x-ray to see what's going on.

He is urinating just fine. I can ask my vet to do an X-ray when he's dropped off Tuesday morning. Should he be ok to wait until then? He's eating and drinking and looks comfortable when resting (not puffed out or hunched over).

It depends. If he has a stone, it can block his urethra so he can't urinate at all, and that's a flat-out emergency that requires quick surgery. If it's not a stone, it can probably wait.
