I haven't posted about my battle with cancer in a while, so I thought that I'd update you guys a little.
A little before Christmas, I had a little scare. Due to my ulcers, I had lost too much blood and feinted, injuring my head in the process and a couple other minor things. Fortunately enough we got that under control, and my cancer has taken a turn for the better.
In the beginning, I was given 2 initial options. Start with chemo, or go straight to the surgery at a attempt to remove the mass in my stomach. We chose the chemo.
After a little while of doing so, the doctors became concerned, but wanted so desperately not to deliver bad news to me that they bounced me around from specialist to specialist. Finally, I heard what I needed to. My health had starting deteriorating and they knew it wasn't working. I was almost forced to go through with a surgery that I wasn't nessecarily strong enough to endure. My parents and I decided on 2 more treatments before the surgery.
A few weeks later, I'm potentially cancer free and in remission.
My pigs have helped me so much through this, and so have all of you. I just want to say thanks, and let everyone know that it's getting better and that I am going to be okay.
