Are these cavy safe? A friend was curious, and I might invest in them too if they are.

Curious here. Why do you need one? Guinea pigs do better in cooler temps than in warm ones. If your house is habitable for you, it's fine for your guinea pig. Unless it's a skinny, and even then, lights are recommended more often than heating pads.

I wasn't sure I did need one, but my room does get cold during the winter. Thank you tho, and I'll be sure to tell my friend.
