I'm pretty new to owning guinea pigs, I just adopted my first yesterday. I had intended to adopt his brother as well, but by the time I got to the shelter he was already gone. 
I intend to find him another male friend that he will hopefully bond with in the near future. He currently lives in a 2x4 C&C cage I just finished building today. He seems to like it!
