Hello,
I have two young female pigs living together in the same cage. I noticed this morning that they both have white crust around their vaginas. I uses fleece not sure if that could be what is causing it? They are also both silkys, is this a common problem because of their long fur?Thank u!

Do you notice any dried white urine spots on the fleece? If so, it could be calcium from their urine.

Are you positive that they're females? Could be dried semen if they're not. If you're not absolutely positive about the sex, see Sexing Guinea Pigs: How to Sex a Guinea Pig and compare against the pictures.

You could trim the hair on their undercarriage really short for a while and see if you can figure out what's going on.
