Also, are litter pans a good idea??? my pig pees in about the same place every time and does number 2 more in that place than in others. Question: Would he maybe use a litter pan???

Thats a good idea! My pigs have a litter box, and its great! You can even litter train them. They are not expencive, and they are easy to clean. All you do is buy one from a petstore that is right for you, and fill it up with normal bedding.
When you clean it though, you shouldn't clean it with soap because it will ttake their sent away, and they will not be as willing to go in it.
