Bathing Chincilla sand bath

I had a gerbil so I got her Chincilla sand bath. Now she has passed and I have a Guinea Pig. I've only used the sand bath once. I think that is a waste of money in my opion. Is it safe for Guinea Pigs to use it or not. If not should I give it to a friend who has a hamster or gerbil?

No, that dust is not safe for guinea pigs. It can get into their lungs, which can lead to all sorts of serious problems.

It is no good for guinea pigs. It can cause problems in their lungs if inhaled and pigs probably wouldn't like it.
