Hi I think i heard that guinea pigs can have banana peels. so, do I just rinse it off a bit? and are brown spots ok or what?
And I have St. Augustine grass in my lawn and I was wondering if that was safe for them ..?

There are many things better to feed than banana peel. I am against feeding banana (fruit or peel) because they can cause severe bloat in guinea pigs. I wouldn't feed it if I were you.

I am not familiar with St. Augustine grass.

Is it ok to feed banana to them once a month? Because my pigs REALLY love them.

Personally, I wouldn't but you can feed a tiny tiny amount once a month if you really feel the absolute need to. VJ and I stayed up with a member almost all night once because her pig ended up with severe bloat after eating banana. That's why I discourage it being fed. I don't want to see that happen to anyone's pig again.

Ok, thanks! I didn't know that! I will only feed a very small amount to them once a month now. Thanks for telling me!
