grapes...

I have heard of people feeding gps grapes before, but I'm not sure if they are ok to have often. Make sure you feed a lot of leafy greens like romaine lettuce, kale, dandelion greens, parsley, celery, spinach (occasionally), and bell peppers. An occasional baby carrot is ok. I like to feed fruits as a treat every once in a while, because they do not carry the same vital nutrients as the veggies. They are more like fillers.

Re: grapes...

I think grapes are very high in sugar. I have offered them to my pigs before but they don't really like them.

Re: grapes...

Grapes are fine. My pigs usually get a one piece of fruit a day or every other day. Usually every day. Apples, grapes, oranges, kiwi, cantelope are all good options. When I do grapes they get a couple of grapes. Almost all of my pigs love them.

Re: grapes...

 I've heard somewhere before to not give grapes to guinea pigs, it can cause them liver problems <img src=(broken link removed) ALT=" >D">

But I feed my piggers grapes all of the time. I'm glad I'm not the only one who does this ;)
