This weekend we finally adopted our second piggie. His name is Radar and he is about 2-2.5 years old and around 3 pounds! He was neutered about a month ago, so is safe for my girl to be around.
We decided not to quarantine him only because both he and my pig have been to the vet within last month and been given clean bills of health and before you adopt she likes to do introductions there to make sure they get along (assuming both parties are healthy). Doing intros there negated the whole purpose of quarantine. Had we not been positive on either one's health status, we would have seperated them for the appropriate time.
