Mice Mites on mice?

I think my little mouse has mites . He's been scratching alot and today i noticed he is losing hair around his face . Has the reddish brownish spots on his back , which is signs I read of mites. What can i do ?
I read that if i got some bird mite spray (because they don
t sell it for small animals) it would help . Does anybody have experience with this ? I'm scared for him . I've been asking my mom for a week to get that spray but she's so forgetful .
Anyways , help please?
