hello i recently inherited my first guinea pig she is black and white dairy cow colored and is growing up fast...i was wondering if anyone knew of places in vermont or southern new hampshire (where i go to school) where i could adopt another female to provide her company. Ive looked at all the local humane societies around and none of them have any pigs available. If anyone has any information please let me know asap i would hate to keep my girl lonely any longer.

Welcome to GPC. I'm on the wrong side of the Atlantic to be able to help with adoption info but thought I'd pop in to welcome you anyway. And to drop a hint that we all love seeing pigtures... ;)

If there are any rescues with a few hours drive, they may help you out with transportation. It's worth asking! Keep checking craigslist too... they tend to have lots of pigs for a while, then very few, then lots again.
