UK Warning about oil soaks

As far as I am aware, the Cambridge Cavy Trust has advised that oil soaks are no longer safe for guinea pigs. They were used for treating fungal skin problems. Gorgeous Guineas has withdrawn them, but don't worry, they now have 'melts' as a safe alternative.

Gee, go figure. People have been screaming at me for a few years now when I tell them that they aren't safe. "After all", they claim, "the CCT surely knows more then you do!"

I'm sure I will get the same reaction when I disprove of these melts--if I figure out what the heck they are.

Maybe, just maybe people will one day realize that animal "fanatics" like me may actually know what we are talking about and realize that I honestly have their pets' best interests at heart.
