Ratties Whats with my ratties

Hi everyone. Two days ago I adopted two beautiful baby boy ratties :cheerful: which by the way they are both gorgeouse! One is a big explorer and an enormous licker lol! and the other is a cudle baby and a bit of a licker hehehe. However I have two concerns, one is that they wont eat from my hand, and the other is that they hide from me eg when I walk into my room. I understand that their just baby's and this whole experience can be quiet scary for them, however I'm wondering is it just my rats or have others experienced this? will it pass? Will they want to be with me lollol
