Weight Wow! Fat Albert really is a fatty!

Fat Albert just turned 5 months old and he weighs 905 grams! I fear he will be the size of a cat by the time he's full grown hmy: Oh boy! I think the rescue said his dad weighs 2000 grams...

Sounds like a pig I just rescued he has to be at least 4 pounds. He doesnt look fat just huge.

@lissie - I don't think he's a Cuy. His ears and feet are normal and he's a Texel, maybe Texel/Teddy mix (not sure if there are many Texel Cuys out there?). His dad, who is also a Texel, is almost the length of my forearm. I don't think he is particularly over weight, maybe just big boys...?

How many grams do all of your boars weigh?

Cookie is my fattest guy. He weighs in at 1340 grams after neuter. He was 1450 before neuter.

Oreo, 2nd fattest guy, weighs in at around 1240 grams after neuter. He was 1340 before neuter.

Puffy, I consider him normal (no bulging tummy), weighs in at 1060 grams. He was 1100 grams before neuter.

Rocky (RIP) weighed 950 when I adopted him at age 3. He went up to 1250 grams at one point. He passed away at 5 and a half. He weighed 879 grams when he passed away.

Coco, newest addition, weighs in at 770 grams. She's estimated to be 8 months old.

@Eimear - that seems about normal I guess the thing I worry about is not being able to see exactly how big (or fat) he is because of all of his hair! His brother is weighing in at 755 grams and is about 4 months...but also has a lot of hair. I'm going to have gynormous piggies!!
