As of now I am unable to order Oxbow or Kleenmamas food. What is the next best brand that is relatively inexspensive and I can find at a pet store? Thanks.

I haven't gotten much from the pet store, but if you are looking for a more inexpensive choice you can always check some farms or feed stores. Its always fresh there.

you can find oxbow at many pet supply stores.
I'm not sure where you are, but an okay brand to feed is mazuri 5664, and if your in canada a brand of okay quality is martins(I'm not sure if they have it in the US).
As for hay, I would recommend buying grass hay from a farmer/feed store.

If you're in New England you may be able to find Sweet Meadow in a feed store like Agway.
