My female (spayed) and male guinea pig have living together for a little over a year now. He tries to get sexy with her all the time & we hear purring, but from what I can tell she doesn't give in to his advances. There's never been a real problem, though, until I saw something strange tonight...

I have heard some people say on here before that they own boston terriers/piggies. I would love some thoughts on your experiences and how you handle this situation, intro, etc. Obviously, (guinea pig) safety issues are important to me.

Does anyone have any more suggestions?

I have always used fleece with a towel underneath in my c&c cage. I also have 2 litterboxes, which I use "Yesterday's News" in. When I only had 1 guinea pig my cage was pretty clean, as my boy was litterbox trained and would only have a few poops outside of the box. Then I adopted another female...

Poor Ani! Maybe you should give your vet a call to see if they want to see her again.

He is an exotic pet vet. Taco seems to be doing pretty well & I haven't heard any of the alarm-cry sounds anymore. He's moving pretty good around the cage, too.

If you had approached this situation with a better attitude we could have had a discussion. The only thing that I can say is you are a rude person who cannot spell correctly. There are better people (on this site) that I can speak to about advice rather than you.

I actually think it's people like you who ruin this board by attacking. I've never personally dealt with this before, but I've seen it come up in other threads so I know it's an issue. If you changed the way you spoke to people you may get an answer to your questions.

The thing is, this post was originally about the lump my guinea pig has & how I'm super worried.
