No, it isn't. A lot of us give a hay pile to play in and munch on. I just clean it up every day as she does wee in/on it and it starts to stink and she wont eat the wet hay.

Can I suggest getting some acidophilus and sprinkling it on what he will eat? That way you know he is getting a probiotic in him.
