My piggies -still- do this, and the four have been together for about a year and the fifth one was added around 9-10 months ago. They'll kick someone out of one of the hideys, they'll play tug of war with the veggies, tip the bowl in their direction...it's actually kind of funny since no one's...
Does anyone know where I can find vegan/vegetarian mock shrimp, that you can buy in stores? Doesn't -have- to be vegan [I prefer things to be, but I'm not a strict vegan], but naturally has to be vegetarian. I've heard of it, so I know it exists, but I can't find any brands. A little help?
That's weird, I didn't know mini pins were like that. My friend has one and she's the sweetest thing ever and would play around with her rabbits.
I wouldn't chance anything, and you'd definitely have to have some sort of lid on the cage that would always have to be closed, or keep the dog out...
Well, yes, the pigs in the adoption center most likely came from the pet store. I don't really see your point here. When you buy from a pet store, you are supporting them and breeding mills and poor care. When you adopt from a rescue or shelter, you are supporting them and adoption and better...
Oh, are you planning on adopting a bunny? I have two male bunnies - remember there's a bunny forum on here for your questions! rabbit.org is a good place for information.
Also buns can have C&C cages as well, but they have to be taller and bigger. I have my two buns in the two-grid high...
i'm not sure what minky fleece is, but i know microfiber fleece like the person above mentioned is -not- good for wicking. it just absorbs the urine unlike anti-pill/polar. it is however very soft. the one in have in my rabbits cage isn't too bad as a lot of the urine does wick [more than...
Anti-pill is definitely better, I have some polar fleece that I use for the kitchen and it isn't as nice as the anti-pill fleece.
sdpiggylover, i've never heard of that website but i've been needing to get more fleece so i'm going to order from there!
my bedroom...the living room, family room, kitchen and master bedroom are accessed by four large dogs making it unsafe, guestroom can only fit a 2x4 and my five sows are now all together so that wouldn't work.
besides, they get the most attention in my room anyway.
i've tried taping two pieces of coroplast together before, and it's turned out horrible. yeah, i'm a bit confused with the measurements myself - they're not adding up properly. i'll probably just have to do two pieces o.O
geez, calm down a bit. the first time i ordered from kleenmama's the bag ripped when i received it. the third or fourth time i ordered, it took an extra week or so to get here for reasons i can't remember, but i didn't rush off to this forum to complain about her. these things happened...
yeah, i just got two pieces of 4x8 coroplast from a sign shop, and it's enough, although i'm -really- confused.
basically, my cage is a 2x5 with a 1x2 l-shape, or a 2x3 with a 2x3 l-shape. [for some reason i just realized it's actually a 2x6 l-shape...i'm pretty good with the cage building...
okay, so to keep it simple i'm just going to ask this; can i make an l-shape coroplast one piece or does it HAVE to be two pieces? i'm having trouble lining up one of the corners, so i'm thinking it's going to have to be two pieces, although i'd prefer one.
i've only had female piggies, but i've noticed male animals in general to be more friendlier. like, i have three male dogs and one female dog; the female is very aloof, while the others are very "in-your-face" and love on you all day, although part of that might be because she's a rottie and...
