C&C Rat Cage - Guinea Pig Cages

This cage belongs to me girl rats. Its a 2x2x2 cubes cage with fleece as bedding.

I have since added a big parrot ladder, corner litter pan that hangs on the second floor, and igloo, and a linking bird toy(very colorful) to the cage, and I made another one for the boys.

I can see you posted it in 2005 so I'm sot sure if you'll get this but I love it and you did a great job.

2005? Oh well, this is an awsome cage, if I were to ever get ratties I would build a similar cage to this! Bravo!!

Really love it! I have a mouse, so I can't really make something like that. Great Job though =) I just let my mouse have floor time. I block off all the doors cept the hallway and my room, and he just runs around like crazzzy! (=

Great cage! Did you make the squares on the grids smaller by having two on top of each other, or is it a different kind of grid?

The grids are doubled and thank you for the comments. I got the idea from the moderator as she had some picture instuctions on how to double the grids and make it safe for small guinea pigs....or rats!

3 per cage...3 females in one, and 3 males.
But now I have moved on to the ferret nation only because the rats chewed the cable ties but I could have used metal ties but I didn't.

Rats are awsome pets! I have 3 and they are great. Hey Alex....where the heck can I get a FN cage? I have never heard of them and they look great. I live in upstate NY. Any suggestions? Do they have them at pet stores Im assuming? :)
