I used cloth diapers for my twins. They introduced zorb in the cloth diapering world for inside diapers. One of the things we do to get stains out of cloth diapers is to wash the diapers and then set them in the sun to dry. They call it "sunning it out" That might help with the stains. Also, from the cloth diapering world. Because the goal is to not have leaks and keep the babies bum dry we use super absorbent fabrics and to make them dry faster we use either inserts or stitch the absorbent fabric into the diaper in such a way that you can pull it out. So I did that with my cage liners. I sew the fleece as a pillow case and leave one short side open. Then while the fleece is inside out I sew in the absorbent layer to the opposite short side. So when you put the fleece case right side out the absorbent material is now inside. But when you are ready to wash and dry your liner you just pull the tongue out so that now it all washes inside out. If you didn't want to wash the fleece inside out then you could sew the tongue to the open end and then just fold it back in after it's dry. Because it's not one thick mat it dries much faster. If you wanted to do two layers you can do it the same way and that way the zorb layers and fleece covers are all individual layers during washing and drying.
If this doesn't make any sense let me know and I can put up a youtube video showing what I mean.

i've heard a lot of people give it good reviews..although i think most people use it under fleece. I would, anyway. I don't know about using it..maybe someone who uses it can tell us what they think.. I think G_Piggler uses it

I sure do and I like it! On my largest 3x2 area, I clip one layer of ZORBII (that's II, it's already sandwiched between a soft wicking fabric) under one layer of fleece. Honestly, in 6 months my girls have left only about 5 spots down on this level since they mainly wee up in their kitchen. On the second loft/upper deck floor, I started using ONLY the ZorbII and aside from seeing the spots on the boring light solid color, it works just fine. My piggies have beds on this floor, so it doesn't seem to matter that it's missing the nice cushioning additional fleece layer.

I sewed a close stitch perimeter around my ZorbII pieces, wash in warm not hot, dry on low, and mine shrank in length just a bit and does not mis-shape during subsequent laundering.

I also sandwiched ZorbII in their fleece beds and hammocks. Quick wicking and drying is the name of the game, and this stuff works for us. I ordered mine from a site starting with Waz-something if memory serves.
