My friend's friend has a guinea pig (i have to sex it) that she doesn't want anymore. If its male he's mine, so there may be another addition to our family!!! I dont have any great information, but I know that it isn't taken very well of, and it will be glad to have a new family. Any name suggestions? I want it to start with "b", I was thinking Breck.

If it's a girl, will you still take her, and make her a cage? I think that would still be good, a 2x3 or so and put in another room. It would be better than at your friends friends house, right?

wow i like Brenton too. I'm not sure I can take her if she's a girl, I was lucky to get a quarintine cage in the livingroom. I probably could do the puppy dog eyes. Heh. But my mom thinks I would need another piggy. So pray it is male. My friend is pretty sure its a guy because the name it has is Rufus(original NOT) anyway I really hope it is!

Lol, yah, that wouldn't be too good. You could find another of your friends/aquantices and ask if they would like a female pig, maybe? Hopefully it's a guy, but what do you think you're going to do if it's a girl?

After quarantine, just go "Ohhhhhh snaps! Looks like I thought it was a boy, oh well we all make mistakes and I'm willing to house and feed this poor defenseless little lady of a pig. Guess I'll just have to make another cage" Maybe not such a good idea...

Im like 90% sure its male because my friend thinks it is. I will be moving in a while I will probably have a bigger room and I could squeeze her in, but wouldn't i need a girly piggy to go with her?

It really depends on her personality and as much time as you can spend with her. Probably not, for a while, until your parents will allow you to get another girl. I would definately let it wait though, and just let her get used to the environment first.

My mom might try to steal her though and say "oh well since we can't put them together, i guess the cage has to go in my room "
