I don't know if this is normal or not, but both of my pigs are yawners. Barney will yawn when you're holding him and he's settled down from adventuring on your torso, and Mosby will usually stretch and yawn in his cage. It's the cutest thing I've seen in my entire life! lol Do anyone else's pigs yawn?

Ive heard that yawning can be a domanice behavior as it is displaying the teeth.
Although, I think as long as they clearly looked relaxed it is nothing to worry about. I haven't seen Whistles yawn in years.
I just go him back tho, maybe a week or so ago. Last night he was back to being his loud self. Running around, whistling, making a rucious. Hubs actually got woken up by him and he is usually a DEEP sleeper.

My pigs always yawn and stretch when just waking up. It's good because it gives me a chance to see it there teeth are healthy. :D

I'd be so happy if I could catch them yawning on camera!

My little boy Lightning will yawn at me if he is done with being held and played with. It's his way of saying "alright, quit messing with me and put me in my cage" and I put him away cuz I don't wanna get bit! This has only happened a few times, but I'm sure there are different forms of yawning and I just recognize his as he is tired of being messed with and he wants to be in the comfort of his tunnel!!
