We have our first "well visit" vet check-up in March. We waited to get past Christmas and other stuff and since the gpigs seemed fine, we thought it would be okay.

I'm wondering if we should get x-rays for both gpigs just to have on file as part of their baseline information? Does anyone do this?

Just an FYI: One of my pigs are showing signs of being sludgy (no pain or anything), so we probably will expect an x-ray for that one anyway.

I don't think they need x-rays as a baseline. But then again, if that is what you want to do, it is up to you.

If either of your pigs are satins, I would recommend a baseline x-ray to check for bone health.
