I haven't updated my blog in ages - close to 10 months! Quite a lot has changed in that time. Let's see..
Dogs - They are brilliant! Turning 4 I think this year, but still act like puppies most of the time. They are absolute nutters. We have had some troubles with Tasha's ear - her ear is SO hairy that it gets all blocked up with wax and fungus, which irritates her so she scratches it which results in a lot of blood and pus in her ear. Poor girl, but a change of diet and medication seems to be helping some. Otherwise they have been *touch wood* very healthy and happy!
Piggies - All going brilliantly! Have had no health problems *touch wood*. They are all chubby and happy. Rosie, Lily and Toffee are all turning 3 this year and Acorn and Ella are turning 2. How time flies! I have some recent pictures that I will pop in here.
Toffee - she is a heart pig and we believe her cataracts are pretty much totally covering her eyes now. She is very placid though and a real sweet heart. She licks her heart meds right off my finger (I break the tablet and mix it with some critical care and a tiny dab of baby apple food)
Ella - she is still living with Toffee. She is another gorgeous pig who puts up with her regular hair cuts (in summer) - even though I am a shocking hairdresser! lol
This was before her summer hair cut
And a photo of the happy duo wanting attention -
Then we have the bottom crew. They are much more active and a lot harder to photograph -
Here they are inspecting their Weaver beds
Acorn (white) and Rosie (the abby)-
Lily (tri-colour with white strip up nose) and Acorn (white)
A picture of part of Ella and Toff's cage -
And a picture of part of Acorn, Lily and Rosie's cage (minus cuddle cups) -
Bun - Yes, we have a new addition! Charlee is 5 months old now and was recently spayed. She came through that pretty good and is a real character. I have had her for about 3 months now. Gorgeous character, and I am in contact with a local rescue to hopefully get her a buddy.
She is always getting up to some sort of mischief!
