Hi everyone,
I recently started using (broken link removed) bedding under a layer of fleece. So far I'm very happy with its performance and intend to continue using a layer of fleece over wood pellets in future.
The packaging assures that no binders or chemicals are used. As far as I can tell, there is no pine smell to the pellets, but I have emailed the company that produces them to ask what types of wood make them up (will post response here when/if I get one). The cost is $20 for 15 kg which isn't bad but if there are any cheaper brands available for purchase in Australia that anyone would recommend I'd like to hear about them.
