I have been wanting to build a bigger house for Sabrina and I've been noticing here how you can use the cubes from the storage dept. to make one, so I figured I would check my local freecycle first and someone gave me a brand new box of 6 storage cubes, I'm so excited. Thats $20-$30 I don't have to spend now :D Woohoo. Now I need to find cloroplast.:)

Check with local sign stores incase they have any extra sheets lying around. I got my chloroplast for free because there was a misprint on the sign. :D

oh that's a great idea. I know there are a few in town.

How excellent! That saves you a good chunk of the cage's cost.

where can you find coroplast? and the cubes?

I found my coro at The Plastics Center (a.k.a. Meyer Plastics), I looked in the phonebook for signs, and actually went to one of the stores. They told me who their supplier was and where they were located.

The cubes I found at Target for $14.99 for 24grids.

How big should a C&C cage be for two 7 month-old pigs? How many grids?

Boars or sows?

Sows.
By the way, did you read the 'WE LOVE PETS...NOT' thread? Thats so sad.

You should have a 2x4 or bigger preferably. A 2x3 is absolute minnimum.
